CAC’s ALT:  EPA Administrator Michael Regan has left “an Indelible and Healthy Mark on This Country.”

WASHINGTON–Statement from Climate Action Campaign Director Margie Alt on the announced departure of Michael Regan, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator:

“The climate and the environment and all of our families will miss Michael Regan at the helm of the EPA. Under his leadership we’ve seen significant advancements in climate, environment and health policies that are delivering clean air, clean water and a healthier climate. Administrator Regan made environmental justice a centerpiece of his tenure and every community in the United States is now and will continue to benefit from the safeguards he put in place.

“With dozens of solutions for pollution implemented by the Biden administration’s EPA under his leadership, from strong soot standards to carbon pollution standards for the power and transportation sectors, Michael Regan has left an indelible and healthy mark on this country.  Administrator Regan is a great partner in the fight to tackle the climate crisis and protect our families’ health. We thank him for his service and we will miss working side-by-side with him and his team to tackle the climate crisis.”
