WASHINGTON–Today, President Joe Biden announced that his climate and clean energy plan initiated more than $1 trillion in private sector investments for clean energy technology and domestic manufacturing. Climate Action Campaign’s Director Margie Alt released the following statement celebrating the monumental turning point:
“American investors are betting big on clean energy and climate action, having now committed more than $1 trillion in private sector investments thanks to the Biden administration’s Climate and Clean Energy Plan. This plan is a legacy that will continue to deliver for communities across the country. These investments drive innovation, create manufacturing jobs, and slash climate pollution.
