Climate Action Campaign’s Margie Alt on $1 Trillion Private Sector Investments Thanks to the Climate and Clean Energy Plan

WASHINGTON–Today, President Joe Biden announced that his climate and clean energy plan initiated more than $1 trillion in private sector investments for clean energy technology and domestic manufacturing. Climate Action Campaign’s Director Margie Alt released the following statement celebrating the monumental turning point:

“American investors are betting big on clean energy and climate action, having now committed more than $1 trillion in private sector investments thanks to the Biden administration’s Climate and Clean Energy Plan. This plan is a legacy that will continue to deliver for communities across the country. These investments drive innovation, create manufacturing jobs, and slash climate pollution. We must stand strong to ensure the U.S. economy continues to enjoy the long-term benefits of climate and clean energy action for American families and businesses. The progress made today is the foundation for tomorrow’s clean future.”
